The New York State Unified Court System Office of Court Administration is seeking a HR Analyst to serve in the Division of Human Resources Appointments Unit. The position will be filled based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate in one of the following titles: Senior Court Analyst or Court Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with various Human Resources projects.
- Analyzing and providing recommendations for improving efficiencies and accuracy of data.
- Reviewing documents for accuracy and compliance with civil service rules and procedures.
- Advising employees and managers on Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures.
- Coordinating appointments, meetings, and managing calendars.
- Maintaining and updating Human Resources files.
- Auditing and correcting transactions in the HRIS system.
- Minimal travel may be required.
Qualifications:
Senior Court Analyst: One year in the Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary: $76,112
Court Analyst: One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary: $64,971
High level proficiency using Microsoft Office including Excel is required.
Experience using HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft is a plus.
