Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Architectural Drafter to join our team. As part of our in-office team, you will play an integral role in the design and drafting of a variety of structures, including repairs, additions, renovations, and new builds. This position requires someone who is comfortable working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Perform site visits to assess and gather necessary information for design work
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and staff to ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs
- Prepare architectural drawings for residential and commercial projects
- Assist in designing structures, repairs, additions, and renovations
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism in all work
- Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities
- Work as part of a close-knit team, contributing to a positive office culture
Qualifications:
- Experience as an architectural drafter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects (preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant drafting software
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects is a plus
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
